2. Shortcut keys
The majority of browsers support direct access to specific links by clicking specific combinations of keys (shortcut keys) defined for the Website. For example, in Windows, this works by holding the Alt key and pressing the shortcut key (in Internet Explorer you also have to press the "enter" key); with Macs, you have to hold Ctrl and click the shortcut key.

The following shortcut keys are available:
  • Accessibility 0
  • Home: 1

4. Links
The majority of links which are not described fully by their text are complemented with more information in the "TITLE" attribute.
Whenever possible, the links are written so as to make sense out of context. Some browsers (such as JAWS, Home Page Reader, Lynx and Opera) can extract a list of links from the current page and enable the user to browse directly from this list. Bearing this in mind, in general links are not duplicated, but where they are it is because they lead to the same content.
There are no javascript pseudo-links. All the links can be followed in any browser, even if Javascript has been disabled.
No internal link opens a new browser window. External links (downloads of documents and those which open new websites) open a new browser window and are shown as follows:
www.xxxx.comThis link will open a new window
